| Bangladesh-China People's Friendship Association Holds Discussion Program to Welcome Beijing Olympic Games | ||||||

On August 7, Bangladesh-China People's Friendship Association (BCPFA) held a discussion program to hail Beijing Olympic Games. Mr. Anwarul Amin, President of BCPFA, Mr. Liu Sanzhen, Cultural Counsellor of Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh and over 100 friends from all walks of life in Bangladesh attended the discussion. Mr. Amin read BCPFA's congratulatory letter on Beijing Olympics, and expressed felicitations to Chinese people. He said that Beijing Olympics are a pride for Chinese people and also for billions of people from the third world.
Mr. Liu Sanzhen gave a brief introduction about the preparations of Beijing Olympics. He expressed gratitude to people all over the world including Bangladeshis for their valuable support and active participation. He said that Beijing Olympics would make its due contributions to the development of world Olympics and hoped Bangladesh athletes would make remarkable achievements in the games.
The participants spoke highly of the organizing work of Beijing Olympics. They believed that Beijing Olympics would become a new milestone in world Olympics and play an important role in promoting the world sports and strengthening friendship with all countries. |
