On June 17,Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Zheng Qingdian paid a courtesy call on Ms. Geeteara Safiya Chowdhury, Adviser of Industry.

             

 

    Ambassador Zheng made the remarks that China and Bangladesh enjoy a long history of friendship and many scopes for the prospect of future economic and trade cooperation. Bangladeshi industries have developed with a fast speed in recent years, which is attracting more Chinese enterprises to invest here. China commits itself to further develop the friendly relation with joint efforts from the Bangladeshi side.

    The Adviser expressed a warm welcome to Mr. Zheng as the new Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bangladesh, admiring the achievement made by Chinese economy. She also indicated that Bangladesh would devote itself to strengthening exchange and cooperation with China to promote understanding and deepen economic cooperation for the benefits and prosperity of the two countries.
