On April 14th, 2024, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of China to Bangladesh, attended the New Year Celebration Event of the Bengali Year 1431 held by the North Dhaka City Corporation with his spouse, at the invitation of H.E. Mr. Md. Atiqul Islam, Hon’ble Mayor of DNCC. They enjoyed the live singing performed by the Bangladeshi folk band "Joler Gan" and had cordial and friendly exchanges with the citizens.
