On 28 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, the Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, called on H.E. Mr. Jahangir Kabir Nanok, MP, Minister of Textiles & Jute.

The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting more Chinese textile companies to invest in Bangladesh and exporting jute products to China.
