On 25 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Yao Wen, Ambassador of China to Bangladesh, met with Mr. Chen Dongxiao, President of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies,Chairman of the Academic Board of the Center for China Studies. Representatives from Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, East China Normal University, Yunnan University, Tongji University also participated. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting the construction of the Center for China Studies and enhancing exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Bangladeshi scholars.
