On December 3rd, Daily Sun published an op-ed by Ambassador Li Jiming in the series China: Good Governance Rooted in an Ancient Civilization titled CPC’s Official Transcript of Its Century-long Test. In the op-ed, Ambassador Li explained the tradition of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to constantly review its history, with the latest example being the historic resolution adopted at the sixth plenum of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Ambassador Li then expounded on the historical experience and significance of the CPC’s endeavors in the past one hundred years, and pointed out that the most important take-away of this plenum is the establishment of Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and that of the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
