On November 28, 2021, Bangladesh International Investment Summit was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Ambassador Li Jiming and Economic and Commercial Counselor Liu Zhenhua attended the opening ceremony of IIS 2021. Mr. Ren Hongbin, Vice Minister of Commerce of China addressed the inaugural ceremony through a pre-recorded video message, among several international and national representatives.
